Residents learn healthy, affordable shopping habits during grocery store tour
MPDC’s Health Equity and Wellness team partnered with Cooking Matters for their second supermarket tour on April 25. Residents toured Tropical Foods and recieved hands-on education and tips on how to use nutrition faces on food packaging to make healthier choices when shopping. Renovation underway on historic Tropical Foods building
MPDC announced that it has closed on construction financing on the $18.5 million renovation of 2101 Washington Street, the former Tropical Foods building in Dudley Square, Roxbury.
