On Wednesday, April 20th, the Dorchester Reporter announced that Madison Park Development Corporation’s CEO, Leslie Reid, will serve as a member of the Technical Advisory Committee for the city of Boston’s Inclusionary Development Policy (IDP) study. According to the Office of Housing, the IDP study “will look at a range of options to update the policy, including increasing the proportion of units that are income-restricted to at least 20 percent, deepening affordability requirements, increasing contribution fees to the IDP Fund, and other reforms so as to better meet Boston’s housing needs.” The purpose of the Technical Advisory Committee is to assist in the restructuring of Boston’s housing affordability ratios through policy recommendations.
