Youth Employment Program Wraps Up Another Successful Summer

09.06.2016

We’d like to send a hearty THANK YOU to all of the parents, funders, partners, career intern sites, staff, and especially the youth who took park in our 2016 Summer Youth Employment Program.  It was an incredible summer of growing and learning for 64 youth workers we were able to employ with jobs at local businesses including Dudley Dough, Haley House, Bradley Properties, Mattapan Food and Fitness Coalition, Thumbprint Realty, Hunter Signs, Nuestra Comunidad, Tropical Foods, and Suya Joint — just to name a few.  Youth workers also participated in financial literacy classes sponsored by Citizens Bank and learned how to build websites at the Roxbury Innovation Center.  We truly appreciate all the dedication and time that each career site put into working with our youth this summer!
