MPDC is proud to join with community organizations from across the city to support the Community Preservation Act. This proposal will allow Boston to create affordable homes, better parks and playgrounds, preserve our historic neighborhood buildings, and create jobs. Funds will be raised through a small surcharge on local property tax bills and matched by a statewide trust fund. The average homeowner in Boston would pay just $24 a year. In turn, the city would generate at least $20 million every year for CPA projects.
Please support the YES for a Better Boston Campaign to pass CPA on the November 8, 2016 ballot. Learn more here.
