MPDC awarded 15 scholarships this year totaling $49,500. This is the scholarship program’s 4th cycle.

2019 recipients are attending schools such as Boston University, Simmons College, and Suffolk University.

Fourteen youth received the Danette Jones Scholarship which is a $500 scholarship to use for school supplies & books. The Haynes Family Scholarship is reserved for MPDC participants, volunteers, and people affiliated with MPDC in some way. The Ralph D. Smith Community Scholarship is for Roxbury residents.
