Fifteen youth leaders in our afterschool youth employment program have been busy this fall working at various career internship sites. We’ve partnered with the Roxbury Innovation Center where our youth leaders are learning website/app development. As part of the employment program, youth leaders are also required to complete a community service day once a month. Earlier this month youth leaders helped serve meals to senior citizens at the First Baptist Church of Jamaica Plain.
