Please RSVP on Eventbrite here.\n#SavortheSquare takes an inclusive approach to address documented challenges (business development\, wealth creation\, and physical connections) facing the community so that economic needs are not left to chance in the face of change in Nubian Square.\nThese will be addressed in three important ways:\n1. Cultivating a new Roxbury amenity that sparks positive energy and fun\, encourages civic engagement\, helps to jump-start the civic and business revitalization of Nubian Square\, and creates a buzz while helping to improve the business climate and increase connections between Roxbury residents and visitors from surrounding neighborhoods;\n2. Supplying fresh\, healthy\, locally-grown and -produced food to Roxbury residents helping to offset the acknowledged food desert; and\n3. Activating a high-visibility public space with food\, art\, and entertainment helping to bring more foot traffic and pedestrian vitality to Nubian Square.
