About April School Vacation Week: The Dewitt Center knows that Vacation Week should be full of fun. Bring your child to engage in interactive, relaxing, informative activities such as pillow-making, fish tank-making, movie-watching, and painting. All your child has to do is attend, and the Dewitt staff will handle the rest.

Join Hibernian Hall for a night of gathering and live storytelling around the campfire. "Roxbury Roots" is back by popular demand after its first successful year!

About Roxbury Roots: Allow the night to take you through many human experiences filled with laughter, tears, and truth. Each story is unique, each voice is authentic, and we will go through each journey together. "Roxbury Roots" was created by Haris Lefteri (Creative Director of Hibernian Hall) and Leslie Stafford (Health Equity & Wellness Coordinator), who wanted to provide a platform for adventurers and storytellers. It opened in August 2022, and after popular demand, we are back for more. Stick around for food, refreshments, and lots of prizes. Plus, all proceeds for this event will go to charity!

Apply to MPDC’s Scholarship Program today!

This year, MPDC offers young folks the opportunity to apply for The Ralph D. Smith Community Scholarship, The Danette Jones Scholarship, and The Haynes Family Scholarship.

To be considered for the MPDC Scholarship Program, applicants should satisfy the following requirements:

1. Be a resident of the greater Madison Park community as defined by the boundaries of Lower Roxbury – which include and are limited to residences in the 02119, 02120, and 02121 zip code areas;

2. Enrolled full-time as a high school senior, graduating in Spring/Summer 2024 with plans to enter college after graduation;

3. Applicant has a strong commitment to pursuing a Bachelors or Associates degree;

4. Applicant has involvement in community service and a strong commitment to continue community service throughout college

Applications are due June 21st, 2024, at 5:00 pm
