Press Release: Democratic Gubernatorial Candidates Debate in April at Hibernian Hall

Roxbury, MA – The Roxvote Coalition in partnership with Madison Park Development Corporation (MPDC) is pleased to announce that a Massachusetts Democratic Gubernatorial Debate will take place on Monday, April 2, 2018, from 6:00pm – 8:00pm at Hibernian Hall located at 184 Dudley Street in Roxbury. Former Mayor of Newton Setti Warren, Former state Secretary of Administration and Finance Jay Gonzalez, and activist Bob Massie have all accepted The Roxvote Coalition’s invitation to participate in the debate.

The debate will be moderated by The Boston Globe’s Meghan Irons and Adrian Walker. Candidates will be questioned on key issues vital to the future of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts including: economic development, education, public safety/criminal justice, housing, and transportation. There will be a brief presentation by Voter Choice Massachusetts before the debate begins.

This event is free and open to the public and media. Doors open at 5:30pm and will close once capacity is reached. Light refreshments provided by Suya Joint will be served.
