In the Bay State Banner: Jomama Jones delivers wisdom, hope & love

In Broadway World Boston: A.R.T. To Present Daniel Alexander Jones In BLACK LIGHT

American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University, under the leadership of Terrie and Bradley Bloom Artistic Director Diane Paulus and Executive Producer Diane Borger, will present visionary artist Daniel Alexander Jones’ concert and visitation with alter-ego Jomama Jones, Black Light at A.R.T.’s club theater space OBERON September 19 through September 20, 2019.

In BU Today: To Do Today: Roxbury International Film Festival

The Roxbury International Film Festival, New England’s largest film festival celebrating people of color, was created in 1999 to showcase independent films and diverse experiences throughout the world. The annual volunteer-run production will hold 68 screenings of feature-length, short, documentary, and animated films. The 10-day lineup kicks off with Toni Morrison: The Pieces I Am, a documentary about the Pulitzer Prize–winning author’s life and literary career on Thursday, June 20, at 4:30 pm at the Museum of Fine Arts.
