Roxbury Open Studios (ROS) is an annual two-day event the first weekend in October that invites the general public to interact with, and view the works Roxbury-based artists who work in a range of mediums. Roxbury Open Studios increases the visibility of Roxbury artists and their work, and aims to help artists economically and professionally. Roxbury is home to renowned artists such as Lou Jones and Paul Goodnight Ekua Holmes and countless others. It is also location of the Museum of the National Center of Afro-American Artists.

This year, dozens of artists will participate in ROS and on display will be a broad range of works including paintings, sculptures, home décor, photography, quilts, jewelry, clothing, mixed media, and more.

Locations
Artists will be displaying their works at a number of group locations and independent studios thoughtout Roxbury. A full list of participating studios and locations will be available in September. All locations are within walking distance of the Roxbury Crossing, Dudley Square and Brigham Circle T stops.

Shuttles will be available to go between all sites.
